This Privacy Policy describes how Spextract ("the app," "we," "our") handles information when you use the Spextract application on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The short version: we collect nothing. The longer version follows.
We collect no information whatsoever.
Spextract does not collect, access, process, store, or transmit:
All computation — image loading, perspective correction, axis calibration, trace extraction, and CSV export — runs entirely on your device using the device's own processor and memory. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Nothing leaves your device.
Images you import and data you export remain under your control at all times, stored only in your device's local file system or wherever you choose to save them (e.g. iCloud Drive, a local folder). Spextract does not retain copies of any files.
Spextract contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, crash reporters, or tracking libraries of any kind.

The only external connection the app makes is the standard App Store receipt validation handled by Apple, which is outside our control and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Because we collect no data from anyone, Spextract is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area) — or from anyone else.
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect data. There is nothing to share, sell, or disclose.
We retain no data. Any files or session state are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you remove them or uninstall the app.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and portability of your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, these rights do not require any action on our part. If you believe this is incorrect or wish to enquire, contact us at Spextract@outlook.com.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. As the app does not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes. We recommend checking this page periodically if you wish to stay informed.
